South Star Naga Chaitanya joins cast of Aamir Khan 's Laal Singh Chaddha

South Indian star Naga Chaitanya has joined the cast of the much awaited Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha.

Naga Chaitanya shared a picture of himself with Aamir Khan and co producer Kiran Rao on the sets of Laal Singh Chadha in Ladakh last evening.

'Grateful  #AamirKhan #LaalSinghChaddha!,'Naga Chaitanya said while sharing the picture.

Chaitanya will be making his Hindi film debut with Laal Singh Chaddha., which stars Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead roles.

Shooting for the film,  being directed by Advait Chandan and produced by Aamir Khan,  Kiran Rao and Viacom18 Studios, is currently going on in Ladakh.

Laal Singh Chaddha is said to be an adaptation of the 1994 Tom Hanks' film Forrest Gump.

In Laal Singh Chaddha,  Naga Chaitanya will play the role of Bala, Aamir Khan 's friend in the army.

Actress Samantha Akkineni,  wife of Naga Chaitanya,  expressed her happiness at her husband joining the shoot for Lal Singh Chadha.

Naga Chaitanya is a popular face in Telugu cinema,  having worked in films like Josh (2009), Ye Maaya Chesave (2010). 100% Love (2011), Manam (2014), Premam (2016), Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo (2016), Rarandoi Veduka Chudham (2017), Majili (2019) and Venky Mama (2019).

One of the most awaited films of the year, Laal Singh Chaddha is scheduled for release in December  this year.
